First Real Path to True Wealth: LABOUR NOT TO BE RICH!
LABOUR NOT TO BE RICH!
SEVEN REAL PATHS TO TRUE WEALTH (Chapter One)
(First Real Path to True Wealth)
Yes, you read it right, that is the number one path to true wealth: Do not labour to be rich!
Proverbs 23:4 reads, “Labour not to be rich; cease from thine own wisdom.”
The term ‘be rich’ here in this text can be used interchangeably to ‘accumulate money’: Labour not to accumulate money: Do not make money the motivation behind your every action: Do not make money your top priority in laboring: Do not pursue money; cease from your own wisdom!
Proverbs 26:12 says, “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.”
Henry Ford said, “If money is your hope for independence you will never have it…” So, if you do not want a fool to be of more hope than you on this path to true wealth, then, number one is, “Do not make money your priority nor pursuit; labour not to be rich.”
Labour to Impact!
Labour to make a difference where you are named!
Labour to change their lives for the better!
Labour, but labour not to be rich, and wealth will come to you!
There is a resource already deposited in you by him that made you, that greatness within you, labour to use it faithfully.
Give that which you already have and stop waiting to give that which you do not have: That which you have is sufficient for a start, the world cannot wait to see you manifest, use it faithfully!
There is always a place for the manifestation of that which you have, a platform for your expression: It is a stage already prepared for your life given assignment, though ignorance of certain truths has always kept you back in a place of despise of that greatness within and from using it!
Rise up!! Stop crying about the lack of money! Seek necessary knowledge needed to put that gem within you to use. Take up this challenge, it is now! Use it faithfully and wealth will come your way, money will pursue you!!!
Therefore,
Be faithful to seeking the kingdom of God.
Be faithful to your God given purpose.
Be faithful to seeking the wealth of others.
Faithfulness in Seeking the Kingdom of God:
Matthew 6:31-33, “Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? …But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Make the kingdom/reign of God your priority. Make its righteousness your priority.
There are two masters universally acknowledged, but both cannot be revered equally; one must be acknowledged while the other demoted in every life. God or Money? They both have the ability of paving ways for their worshippers.
Money, the Scripture says, “Answers all things”, but with God, it says, “Nothing shall be impossible!”
Joshua said, “Choose you this day whom ye shall serve.” You just have to make a choice! God or Money?
Whichever you choose to pursue, you will always keep pursuing as you can never have enough of either.
Money is a weapon and God, Himself, is a weapon but the excellency of knowledge is that God gives life to those who have him!
You will have to make a choice as no one can sit on the fence.
If you choose to pursue money above God, then, you will have to keep pursuing it as more will only make you covet more, but, its end will be nothing better than many sorrows, “For the love of money [above God and his will] is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
Otherwise, if you choose to seek God and his reign above money, you will keep on pursuing him as well because more of him will also make you want more of his, but those good desires and things you’ve had to sacrifice in a bid of pursuing him, his kingdom and his righteousness, He will in abundance supply them back to you as His blessing for your life! For your faithfulness, right here on this earth and over there after this life in eternity, He will keep blessing you with His True Riches.
Faithfulness in Pursuing Your God Given Purpose:
1 Corinthians 4:2, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
Every man is a steward to God; God did not create any one purposeless, neither are you an error in his world.
Once you discover his purpose for your life, it is expected of you to stay faithful to fulfilling it. It is required of you, a steward to God, to be found faithful. “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Faithfully pursue your God given purpose. You were not made without one, discover it and use it well.
Faithfully pursue your God given purpose:
In that purpose you will find your power!
In that purpose you will find your partner!!
In that purpose you will find your prosperity!!!
Faithfully pursue your purpose instead of money and wealth will come your way.
Faithfulness in Seeking the Wealth of Others:
1 Corinthians 10:24, “Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth”
Here is a hard one, but carefully follow me through.
Have you ever wondered why those who seek to make others rich become richer themselves?
When you seek the wealth of another you tend to add value and more value to them:
When you seek the wealth of another you tend to make them meaningful and more meaningful:
When you seek the wealth of another you tend to make them powerful and more powerful!
When you then become a source of meaning, power and value to others, they tend to come and seek the most unto you.
Now, when men begin to come and seek the more unto you, you become a vital resource unto them.
And when you become a vital resource unto them, they in turn will go to extent in spending their own resources on you to get the most of you: there your riches will come and your wealth will turn out not just in cash only but also in kind!
So, “Let no man seek his own wealth, but every man another’s wealth.” For, “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” <1 Corinthians 10:24 & Proverbs 11:25>
When you seek to add value to men, you become more valuable yourself! When you seek to make others wealthy, you’ll become wealthier yourself!
Here is the first law of True Wealth:
Labour Not To Be Rich!
Labour rather for the prevalence of God’s will!
Labour rather for the fulfilment of your given life’s assignment!
Labour rather to add some value to others!
Labour rather to make positive impacts on the lives of men for their present productivity and their eternal profitability!
Labour rather to make a difference in this indifferent world for God and for humanity!
Labour not to be rich if you want to become truly wealthy!!
Labour but labour not to be rich and true wealth will come to you!!!
