Proverbs 23:4 reads, “Labour not to be rich; cease from thine own wisdom.” The term ‘be rich’ here in this text can be used interchangeably to ‘accumulate money’: Labour not to accumulate money: Do not make money the motivation behind your every action: Do not make money your top priority in laboring: Do not pursue money; cease from your own wisdom! Proverbs 26:12 says, “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit?
