“The
light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body
shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full
of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is
that darkness!”

‘if therefore thine eye be single’… - …’if therefore your eye is pure,
focused, wholesome, clean’…
…'thy
whole body shall be full of light.’ - …’your whole body (spirit, soul and
body) shall be wholesome, holy, full of health.’
‘But
if thine eye be evil’… - ‘But if your eye is impure, covetous, lustful,
hateful, evil’…
…’thy
whole body shall be full of darkness.’ - …’your whole body (spirit, soul
and body) will be full of darkness: this is inclusive of spiritual darkness,
death, degeneration, danger, evil.’
If
therefore the light that is in you is darkness (darkened), how great (terrible)
is that darkness!
"I pray that the light in you will not be darkness In Jesus
Name."
Sin breeds Darkness.
A
blind man cannot differentiate between light and darkness because his eye is
bad, he is full of darkness.
A
blind woman cannot appreciate the varieties of colorings and reflections of
Nature around her because her eyes are bad, she is full of darkness.
Blindness
limits and deprives!
It
separates and endangers!
Blindness
starves and kills!
Blindness
seals in darkness, but, Light gives Joy and Life!
John 1:3-5, 9-12
"All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in
darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. That was the true Light, which
lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the
world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and
his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
John 8:12
Then
spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I am the light of the world:
he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of
life."
Jesus
is the True Light: He will make your life whole and safe! But, you will have to
first Believe in Him, Submit to Him, and Receive Him into your life as your own
Lord and Saviour.
Do that now, and God bless you in Jesus name.
